Searching for a lightweight, weather-proof casual ankle boot that keeps active children comfortable and dry through everyday outdoor play?
The Ricosta Juno children's waterproof boots in Reef blue nubuck offer an ideal blend of casual style, lightweight comfort, and puddle-ready functionality. Crafted from supple blue nubuck leather and built with an integrated RICOSTA-Tex waterproof membrane, these short boots keep feet completely dry during rainy days, park trips, and weekend outings. With breathable textile linings and a highly flexible sole unit, they are designed for all-day comfort without adding heavy bulk underfoot.
Key Features of the Ricosta Juno
- RICOSTA-Tex Waterproof Membrane: High-performance internal lining shields active feet from rain and wet grass while allowing internal moisture to escape for dry, fresh comfort.
- Twin Rip-Tape Fastening: Dual adjustable touch-fastening straps enable kids to put on and fasten their boots independently while securing a custom, snug fit.
- Orthotic-Friendly Removable Insoles: Quality removable textile insoles offer soft underfoot cushioning and provide extra depth control to easily accommodate custom orthotics or podiatry inserts.
- Lightweight, Flexible PU Sole: Bends naturally with the foot's movement to reduce fatigue and absorb impact on hard pavements and playgrounds.
Why Our In-Store Shoe Fitters Recommend the Juno Waterproof
At our shops in Bourne and Stamford, our professional shoe fitting teams regularly recommend the Ricosta Juno on our fitting stools. Here is why it is a fantastic choice for everyday casual wear:
- Vibrant Reef Blue Colourway: The rich ocean-blue nubuck upper provides a fun, versatile splash of color that pairs brilliantly with jeans, joggers, and everyday outfits.
- Fully Adjustable Fit: The twin strap design accommodates various instep heights, making it easy to achieve a secure, non-slip fit around the ankle.
- Soft & Supportive: Combines soft nubuck uppers and cushioned ankle collars to guard against rub points during active play.
Fit Tip: Optimised for a standard middle/medium width profile. Use the twin rip-tape straps to fine-tune the tension across the instep and lower leg, while taking out the removable insoles offers handy extra room for orthotics or growth checking.
