The Ricosta Laury girls' waterproof ankle boots in black suede and patent from the specialist Pepino range are designed to keep young feet comfortable, dry, and stylish through all-day adventures. Featuring a pretty black suede main upper printed with subtle pink hearts, contrasted by glossy black patent toe bumpers and fastening straps, these boots offer eye-catching appeal. Engineered with high-performance SympaTex® waterproof technology and a soft textile lining, they provide total protection against wet weather while maintaining maximum breathability.
Key Features of the Ricosta Laury (Pepino)
- SympaTex® Waterproof Membrane: 100% waterproof and windproof membrane seals out rain, puddles, and slush while allowing internal humidity to escape for dry, healthy feet.
- Charming Heart-Print Suede: Soft black suede body decorated with a sweet pink heart pattern for a playful, decorative finish.
- Scuff-Resistant Patent Toes: Glossy black patent leather caps shield high-impact toe boxes from scuffs during crawling, cruising, and active play.
- Twin Rip-Tape Straps: Dual touch-fastening patent straps allow quick, hassle-free fitting and ensure a precise, customised seal across the ankle and instep.
- Orthotic-Friendly Removable Insoles: High-quality removable insoles offer gentle underfoot cushioning and make checking growth or fitting custom inserts quick and simple.
Why Our In-Store Shoe Fitters Recommend the Pepino Laury
At our shops in Bourne and Stamford, our professional shoe fitting teams regularly recommend the Ricosta Laury on our fitting stools. Here is why it remains a favourite for cold-weather wear:
- Expertly Built for Toddlers: Part of Ricosta’s renowned Pepino line, specifically designed to support proper foot development with lightweight construction and flexible soles.
- Warm & Supportive Collar: High-top ankle collar and plush textile lining guard against rub points while providing gentle stability for early walking strides.
- Versatile Yet Playful Style: The classic black base pairs easily with winter coats and tights, while the pink heart print adds a pop of personality.
Fit Tip: Optimised for a standard middle/medium width profile. Dual rip-tape straps allow fine-tuned adjustment across both the midfoot and upper instep, while taking out the removable insoles offers extra depth for growth checking or orthotics.
